RPL under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM)

Overview
Under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), Lord Ganesha Innovations received sanction to implement Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) programs. RPL is a mechanism to formally certify individuals who possess relevant skills gained through informal work experience but lack formal certification. The organization identified and assessed beneficiaries — primarily plumbers, electricians, and water supply workers — in rural Rajasthan, and facilitated their certification under the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF). This program enhanced the employability of thousands of informal workers and contributed to the JJM goal of providing safe drinking water to every rural household.

Lord Ganesha Innovations successfully implemented Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) programs under the CSSM–PMKVY (Centrally Sponsored Scheme for Modernization — Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana) across multiple districts of Rajasthan. PMKVY's RPL component aims to align the competencies of the unregulated workforce with NSQF standards. The organization was responsible for mobilizing beneficiaries, conducting pre-screening, organizing orientation camps, facilitating third-party assessments, and ensuring successful certification of skilled workers. This program significantly contributed to formalizing the skills of workers in various sectors including construction, retail, beauty & wellness, and hospitality.

The Samarth Scheme (Scheme for Capacity Building in Textile Sector) is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, aimed at providing demand-driven, placement-oriented skilling in the textile and apparel sector. Lord Ganesha Innovations served as Project/Field Coordinator, responsible for end-to-end coordination of training programs. Responsibilities included managing batch formation, tracking attendance and performance of trainees, facilitating regular interaction between trainers and trainees, coordinating with fabric and garment industry partners for placement, and preparing comprehensive reports in compliance with government norms. The organization ensured high completion and placement rates for trained candidates.
